Spooky Present Update



The Spooky Present is now restocking in all main shops with the rarity of Incredibly Common. Also, the chance of finding a Soul Stealer inside a Present has been greatly improved. This should please some of the avatar hunters out there! 





Also, I would also like to say a big THANKYOU to the IcePets staff, as I have had them testing all sorts of things this week to make this content possible (and [[im jinxing myself by saying this..]](hopefully) 100% glitch-free)!

Into the Wild


Behold!

Yes, you know this Pet. This is the Woodland Cobron. It was funded by Mrsgiggles on November 30th, 2011 and was drawn by Romance. A little bit of background info on the Woodland Cobron; it was originally requested to be an Evil Cobron, but with the color scheme of a king cobra, and a sort of 'cute' evil. Romance set to work, but when she was finished, it didn't look very evil. The only reason being the colors didn't match the rest of the evil Pets.  It was decided we would keep the image, but call it something different. Woodland came to mind, and it stuck.

Fast forward to present day, when user Hiskey requests a Woodland Ridix. But his request is a little different. It doesn't quite match the theme of the only other woodland Pet, but we, the staff, really like the idea and we run with it. Introducing…

                                              

The Woodland Ridix. This will be the new Woodland theme; our IcePets in the form of real life animals.

                                                         

The beautiful Woodland Ridix and its Morphing Potion were drawn by the lovely Hornbuckle! The Woodland Ridix Morphing Potion can be found in the I.C.E. Shop for 400 IC until the end of October, after which it will go up to 800 IC.
((720 IC for Gold Members!))
It can also be found in the Snow Jar Igloo for 15,000 iP, if you have the patience. ;D

Next, grab a shovel and go play our brand new (seasonal) game,Grave Digger! It seems the dead have.. disappeared. Whatever the reason, it is the perfect opportunity to check out their coffins to see what prizes can be found!



Based on its predecessors (Pinata Mania and Heart Attack), this game ends when someone finds the Spooky Present hidden in one of the coffins. Unlike the previous versions though, there are other prizes that are waiting to be found:

A group of users has been seen recently lurking in the introductions forum. They are constantly helping other users, and are always guiding new users around icepets, teaching them about our features, and generally answering all questions they have. 

This elite team of specialists are as follows (in no particular order):

Wonderrabbit, Soot, Cowpro, Pom, Brad, Lainie, Tokcando, Read

These users can be identified on the forums with the title (below their username) Welcomer.

So what can they do?

Well, apart from helping new users find their feet, they can also send ANY user a Newbie Package

                                          

A Newbie Package contains 5 basic items (food, morph, book, toy, beauty) to help new members find their feet.

ALL current members can ALSO recieve one! To receive one, just do one of the following;

a) Post in the Introductions Forum (and ask for a newbie package!)
b) Post on a Committee Members profile (comment)
c) Send ONE of them a Private Message and ask for one!

You should only take ONE action to ask for a package!

Oh yeah!, there is an avatar to collect too!

Brand Spanking New Quest Store

So, you have racked up a large sum of quest points so far. How about spending those points at the new Quest Store?

The Quest Store only has a few Items in it at the moment, but rest assured you’ll have to do quite a few Quests to get everything in there. More will be added along the way, so watch for updates!!

You may have noticed the Quest Store NPC around before…We thought long and hard, and interviewed many candidates before selecting the War Trido. He’s strong enough to defend the Quest Store Items, and calm enough to deal with uses who can’t decide what to buy. ;D

In other news:

If you’re observant, you’ve seen a few Morphing Potions go missing from the I.C.E. Shop and Easter Shop. The Space Wulfer Helmet, Space Ridix Morphing Potion, Flying Xephyr Morphing Potion, Ancient Cobron Morphing Potion, Flying Dovu Morphing Potion, and Ancient Traptur Morphing Potion were moved to the Limited Stock section and are to be removed at the end of the month. All six of those Morphing Potions, along with the Space Dovu Morphing Potion, have been removed from theSnow Jar Igloo. You may still receive the Ancient and Flying Morphing Potions from the Plot Store, as well as all seven Morphing Potions from the Historian.

                                                
Don’t worry, I have plenty of these Morphing Potions stocked up. (:

All the Morphing Potions in the Easter Shop have been removed, except for the appropriately placed Jakrit Morphing Potions. Again, the Historian has plenty of these Morphing Potions stock piled in the back. ^_^

New Raffle Store Stock

The following items have been added to the Raffle Store

The Discount Raffle Ticket can be added to your account (much like an Autopricer) and you will permanently receive 50 ip discount for each ticket you buy - ever.

You can use a maximum of 5 discount tickets, meaning a total discount of 250 ip per ticket!!

The VIP Raffle Ticket is once again, an account upgrade; however this can only be used once on your account. This upgrade will allow you to purchase and additional 50 tickets every week!

The Moon Pie is the much talked about item to fill up those Gourmet Foods collections.

The Raffle Winners Parchment is a scroll that tells you all the winners of the raffle - ever. When someone new wins, the Raffle NPC writes their name in this scroll for everyone to see (for all of eternity!)

Mystic Rock

A new area has been added to the arcade (Until a place in a landmap has been found for it).


This area is called Mystic Rock, and it is, just that - a rock that is.. mystic?

You may recognise it from Plot (We have now added the image to the plot) - Cecie pulled the fragment from it!

                                  

People have been seen placing their Zabeu Totems at the base of the rock

                                   


We are still trying to figure out what exactly this rock does, however we are sure that it has something to do with this shiny new avatar:
